We are sad to report that Ham’s on the Westside has closed. Their last day of business was Friday, January 15th. We were lucky enough to be there for the last night, when we left the restaurant around 10:30 pm, they locked the doors for good behind us. Ham’s was a place that we never reviewed on this site due to the fact we went there too often to pick one visit to review! We wish everyone who worked at or owned Ham’s the best of luck in the future.
We were regulars at Ham’s and we miss it terribly. We went to Lillian’s but did not feel that we would be able to establish the same kind of relationship with the owners that we had at Ham’s. I’m sorry, but Lillian’s will never be as good as Ham’s was, and we don’t intend to dine there again. We wish Fab and his family the very best as well as the wonderful employees that were always a pleasure to see and talk to.
Sorry about the folks who worked at Hams, but Lillians down the street has better wings, better burgers,and a more local vibe…not a chain either! Go Lillians!!
What a shame. We enjoyed going to Hams for breakfast and lunch.. Happened to go to Gators in Argyle and saw one of our favorite Hams servers (Christian) and she told us about Hams. We had a feeling but this confirmed it.
WHAT?!?! That was THE place to go to watch football, nascar and the music awards. I bet that was a sad day. Best of luck guys.
